The Mac’s LTC Pharmacy team brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to customer service.
Mike Wilhoit, PharmD | President
Mike is a pharmacist that works to solve problems by being innovative in his approach to business and caring for others. After spending a number of years working in community retail pharmacy, Mike realized there was a need to bridge the gap between the level of service found in his community retail pharmacies and what was found in the industry for a “closed door” long-term care pharmacy. His realization led him to found Mac’s LTC Pharmacy to bridge that gap. He provides this high level of service by working to develop strong relationships between his pharmacy and senior living communities. He views his customers as partners, and strives to make their partnerships more personal. Mike also commits to offer the highest level of technology, education and pharmacy solutions in the country.
Mike was awarded most innovative pharmacist in the state of Tennessee and has lead Mac’s Pharmacy to become the recipient of the Small Business Excellence Award for Knoxville, TN. Nationally, Mike has helped lead Mac’s LTC Pharmacy in being named to the Inc. 5000 list for fastest growing private companies in America and Mac’s Pharmacy in being recognized by Cardinal Health for best practices for leading change in community pharmacy.
In his spare time, Mike has served in various capacities for the Tennessee Pharmacist Association, including chair of the Society of Independent Pharmacy. Mike also serves on numerous civic boards including The O’Connor Senior Center.
Mike holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy.
Morgan Honeycutt, Director of Pharmacy
Morgan Honeycutt is a pharmacist who works with long-term care communities to ensure the highest quality pharmacy services are provided in a manner and approach that best suits the individual needs of each community and their patient population. He does this by developing a strong, team-based style approach to health care.
Morgan believes that long-term care cannot be treated with a cookie cutter method and that each community requires a unique system. He works directly with administrators, directors, nurses, and practitioners to develop a care plan to optimize the experience for both their staff and their residents. Morgan believes that strong and constant communication is the foundation of any strong relationship.
Morgan has worked within the Mac’s Pharmacy family of pharmacies since 2012 and has served as Director of Pharmacy for Mac’s LTC since July 2015.
Morgan holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy and Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee.
Elisa Crawford | Director of Community Relations
Elisa is a marketer who knows that the most important aspect in building good relationships is strong communication. After working in the pharmacy for a few years, Elisa realized her true passion lied within long-term care and helping to cultivate those relationships between the pharmacy and its partnering communities. She does this by being highly visible within the communities and staying in contact with directors, nurses, marketers, and other team members to ensure that Mac’s LTC Pharmacy Solutions is providing the highest level of customer service and care for their residents.
Elisa currently serves as an active member on numerous senior advocacy boards including the Purple Cities Advisory Board, the Senior Companion Program Advisory Council, and Young Professionals Against Alzheimer’s.
